Drummer Jeff Williams joined Chris Philips on The Blueprint

American Drummer Jeff Williams has played with some of the biggest names in jazz including Stan Getz, Dizzy Gillespie, Lee Konitz, Dave Liebman, Randy Brecker, John Abercrombie and Joe Lovano. His new album for Whirlwind Recordings features a band of some of Britain's finest young players with Josh Arcoleo (tenor saxophone), Phil Robson (guitar), Kit Downes (keys) and Sam Lasserson (basses). Jeff now resides in the UK where he also teaches and joined Chris Philips with some superb, revealing anecdotes about his life in jazz and more on the construct of this bold and imaginative new body of work.
