It's Your Community - March 13, 2016

Vanessa interviewed Amanda Kremer, director of Product Program and Retail Operations and Barb Sosin, director of Council Event from the Girl Scouts of Southeastern Michigan. Amanda talked about all things related to the cookie drive and the Girl Scouts other product sales, which includes candy/nuts and a magazine sale that happens every fall season. She discussed how girls sell cookies and also this season's mall kiosks and the cookie pop -up shops which are open now thru March 18th. Finally, Amanda discussed the benefits of selling cookies and the skills the girls build. Barb discussed the Girl Scout programs that they have coming up the rest of the spring and summer. She also discussed how easy it is to get started on Girl Scouting at any time of the year. The Girl Scouts have programs and activities available throughout the year and throughout the region.
