Search continues for Glasgow walker missing in Cairngorms

A search is continuing for a hillwalker missing in the Cairngorms after he failed to return home on Friday.

Experienced walker James Robertson, 61, left Glasgow last Monday and had been staying at Bob Scott's Bothy in Glen Lui, Aberdeenshire.

Mountain rescue teams, search and rescue dogs and a coastguard helicopter were involved in the hunt for Mr Robertson at the weekend.

His daughter Lynn Strachan said her family is ``distraught and desperate'' for news:
