Alex Salmond: June referendum date "insulting" to Scottish voters

The date picked for the EU referendum is "insulting" to the Scottish electorate, according to Alex Salmond.
Yesterday the Prime Minister announced it will be held on the 23rd of June.
However, that's just seven weeks after elections for the UK's devolved parliaments of Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales on the 7th of May.
