Scourge of suicide: young people at mental health charity have their say
The latest figures about suicide in the UK are to be published later this morning. There's concern about the numbers in Northern Ireland, We have some of the highest rates of mental health problems in the UK and since the signing of the Good Friday peace agreement in 1998 more people have taken their own lives than were killed in the Troubles. Earlier this week the Health Minister Simon Hamilton promised the Executive would look at the problem again. Youth Action is a charity here in Northern Ireland working with young people to improve their mental health. And some of those problems can be severe as Chris Buckler found out when he spoke to some of those they've been helping.
