By Ryan Cross. "My piece consists of three different pregoneros, walking salesmen, making their rounds in my neighborhood. It incudes Dada techniques such as the readymade (as the original sounds were not my original creation, but rather sounds that were “found”), chance (I happened to find these salesman on this particular day), and assemblage. The result, I hope, is a kind of folding of time and space where I reimagine all of them in the same street corner at the same time, a kind of ripe avocado-song battle, which in fact is more real than imagined. Alternatively titled: “Guacamole.”"
