Chicago Metra - Chuck mix
Part of our Dada Sound project (February 2016) - see more at http://www.citiesandmemory.com/dadasounds "Here I'm creating the design that unfolds over time, since in this method I have used a coding language [ Chuck ] to randomize sampling and playback of the three source files. Since I opted to run random float cast operations, and not play around with softening the sound packets created by the 'cuts', the results are much more 'clicky'. This, oddly, suits the space in which the original sound was captured, a tiled train platform with lots of bounce in the sound that somehow doesn't end up becoming muddy. "
