As logical as an electric candle

"I made this reimagined recording by collage. I think Kurt Schwitters was right when he destroyed the language in Ursonate to, in a certain way, prove that communication and logic in the culture weren’t working. We have a great collage of terms and phonemes; large archive of ways to talk with other people around the world but, till this day, everything seems to be only assembled strangely. In this point of the History, for every country and nation, i believe that cultures are gondolas on brave and dangerous waters- which, in a metaphor, means cultural instability- , with a difficult to land in a safe territory. We don’t know exactly where we are going from here and what’s gonna happen with us. Political protest are the waves on the shore that makes visible that question … that’s why I related the protest with the trouble of the water –Random, as a lot of Dada works- and collaged that sounds. That context, full of contradictions, turns culture in a structure as logic as an electric candle."
