Michael J Fox, Billy Connelly, Muhammad Ali, Johnny Cash, Bob Hoskins, Linda Ronstadt - all famous faces and all made an impact in their chosen fields. But they also had another thing in common - all received the life changing diagnosis of Parkinson's Disease. It's an illness we don't often hear about but one that sufferers cannot hide due to uncontrollable shaking. We were contacted by one listener, David Murphy. He was diagnosed with the condition in 2013 when he was just 48 years old. David told our reporter, Nicola Weir, that he couldn't believe someone his age could have Parkinson's and how he struggled to come to terms with the disease. And joining us in studio to talk more about his own diagnosis of Parkinson's Disease was BBC Northern Ireland's South East reporter, Gordon Adair. If you want to find out more about the support group David has set up you can go to his Facebook page called 'Young Parkinsons' (that's without the apostrophe), where you'll get details of all his fundraising dates.
