History-making at Stormont - @DUPleader Arlene Foster becomes First Minister today
It's the first day in the job for our new First Minister, Arlene Foster of the DUP. She becomes the first woman and youngest ever holder of the biggest job in local politics. But what pressing matters are waiting in her in tray when she sits down at her desk this morning? And what do you think her top priorities should be? Speaking on yesterday's Sunday News programme on BBC Radio Ulster, she said dealing with the legacy of the Troubles was one of her priorities. Mrs Foster has already been tested before taking up office, hitting the headlines last week when she said she would be having nothing to do with any 1916 Easter Rising Events.
