White Water and Chalice Well, Glastonbury
By Lee Clift.
"One really grey rainy morning I made these field recordings at the White Spring just outside of the Glastonbury, below the Tor, the location is a very spiritual place that I have made numerous recordings of, both inside and out, that morning the Spring which is in an old Victorian built Well House was being prepared for the days opening by one of the volunteers that look after the attraction, he began chanting and the sound from the brick interior resonated beautifully it was one of those lucky moments, all of the water sounds that make up this piece are from the eternal outlet pipe that I have collaged together into a soundscape."
