North East MSP says Trump has given empty threats over pulling £500m of north-east investment
Donald Trump says he'll pull 500 million pounds of investments planned for Aberdeen if he's banned from the country.
Later this month MPs will debate whether he could be blocked from the UK on the grounds of hate speech, following a petition which gathered more than 500,000 signatures.
The billionaire is planning 200 million pounds of investments in South Ayrshire, and half a billion at his Menie Estate golf course in Aberdeen.
The Trump Organization says banning him from the UK "would force (them) to immediately end these and all future investments" in the country.
