Greg Childs on This is your Racing Life

This morning Bryan Martin caught up with Australian Jockey, Greg Childs, on This is your Racing Life! Greg has certainly had a distinguished career with over 2100 wins to his name. From New Zealand to eventually Australia, he rode in 6 different countries, was a dual premiership winner in Victoria and had a stellar career that spanned 30 years. Greg is best known for his association with the grand mare, Sunline – a New Zealand bred Thoroughbred racehorse who was the world’s highest earning racemare of her time. He won 10 Group one races on her including 2 Cox Plates. Greg was unbeaten on the WA champion including his Caulfield Cup win in 2001 and has earned several prestigious awards throughout his career such as the 1998 Scobie Breasley Medal.
