The BBC's sports personality of the year awards took place in the SSE Arena and the great and the good of sporting world were out in force. Andy Murray took the top prize for the second time in three years. Rugby league star Kevin Sinfield was runner-up, with heptathlete Jessica Ennis-Hill third.
