The Pioneers beat the Broncos 42-36 in a highly entertaining 2nd round dual in Frazee. Two forfeits and a Jake Andres pin put the Pioneers up 18-0 but 5 straight wins for the team from North Dakota put Pierz behind 27-18. Lane Girtz and Kolton Eischens pinned their men and Pierz led 30-27. With the match tied 30-30, pins from Brett Kapsner and Teddy Dehler clinched the win.
