Appeal to track down cruel thief who stole pensioner's purse

Police are investigating a report of a theft in the Market Place area of Bangor on Monday, 14 December.

Police received a report today, Wednesday 16 December, that a woman had been shopping in the area when her purse, containing a sum of cash, bank cards and personal items, was stolen from her handbag at around 11am. The investigation into the theft is ongoing and police are appealing to anyone with any information about the incident to contact officers in Bangor on the non-emergency number 101 or anonymously via the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
