Liverpool Life podcast, week ending November 21, 2015

A sombre start to the week, as Liverpool joined millions across Europe with a minute's silence to remember the victims of the previous Friday night's atrocities in Paris. St. George's Hall - scene of the annual Remembrance event only a week before and still bedecked by the 'Weeping Windows' poppies - was the centre for the civic events, with Mayor Joe Anderson leading the tributes. Hundreds of citizens from near and far came to pay their respects and our reporter Adam Lawrance was there, and later moved to the Town Hall, where a book of condolence was opened and heard the thoughts of the city's Lord Mayor. Mental health problems and bullying - two aspects of modern life that are sometimes linked - both come under the spotlight this week, and on a more cheerful note we have news of a Film Night, showcasing the best of the city's talents in the medium, and of a major and ground-breaking art exhibition next summer. Southport's footie team is in the news this week - and for the wrong reasons. We have a full sports' round-up.
