There is outrage among churchmen over a controversial play that depicts Jesus as transgender. Eight clerics have put their name to a letter in today's Belfast Telegraph warning Sunday's performance will cause "great offence" and have asked for it to be axed. But organisers say it will bring comfort to Christian members of the LGBT community in Northern Ireland by looking at the bible story from a different perspective. 'Jesus Queen of Heaven' is written and performed by trans playwright Jo Clifford and will take place in Belfast this weekend as part of the Outburst Queer Arts Festival. Stephen was joined by one of the clerics who signed the letter, Reverend Tim Anderson, Rector of St Elizabeth's Church in Dundonald and the writer and commentator Malachi O'Doherty
