Councillor In Judicial Review Warning Over Police Merger Plans

Aberdeen City Council could call for a judicial review into proposals to merge Police divisions in Aberdeen City and Shire.

The local authority, who are opposed to the plans have invited the Chief Constable and Scottish Police Authority to a meeting of the Urgent Business Committee next week.

Earlier this week a report warned against further reform within Police Scotland until greater stability is achieved within the force.
