UKIP MLA hits out after revelation that 15 thousand people on benefits in NI are from outside UK

The MLA David McNarry has hit out after it was revealed that nearly 15 thousand people on benefits here are from outside the UK. The UKIP politician says our benefits system is a soft touch. And Mr McNarry also says it's too easy to claim benefits in Northern Ireland and that they're far too generous. Figures from the department of social development show that just under 15 thousand non UK citizens are in receipt of benefits, including two thousand from outside the EU.
