Charities make plea against prescription charges #BBCNolan

End the uncertainty and say no to the reintroduction of prescription charges. That's the call from two of Northern Ireland's leading charities to Stormont. The British Heart foundation and MS Society say paying for treatment will place an unfair burden on the sick and disabled, and it won't save the health service money in the long term.

But is this another example of Northern Ireland wanting to be a special case? In England people pay eight pounds twenty an item. Should a similar fee be introduced here or would that make life too hard for you?
