Speculation over Peter Robinson’s future as DUP leader. @LIAMCLARKECJ and Professor John Tonge discuss. #BBCNolan
Peter Robinson set to quit in weeks. That's the claim from the Newsletter newspaper. It says that "figures at various levels within the party believe that if a deal is reached in the Stormont talks, the DUP leader, will announce that he is to leave around the time of the party conference next month."
The paper also says the claim has been denied by DUP officials.
On the line Belfast Telegraph political editor Liam Clarke and Professor John Tonge, who co-authored a major academic study on the DUP.
