Callers clash over NI ‘special case’ plea on benefits #BBCNolan
The issue of welfare reform continues to be a huge issue for our Stormont politicians. The shake up of benefits remains one of the biggest subjects at the ongoing talks up on the hill.
Stormont has so far not put in place changes to the welfare system that have been implemented in other parts of the UK, which has led to the penalties from the Government.
Now the Archbishop of Canterbury - Justin Welby, has told the BBC that he believes that Northern Ireland should be treated as a 'special case' when it comes to changes to benefits.
