Noel Edmonds in Hull

Inspired by last week's from Director General Tony Hall that the BBC will be "unashamedly Hull-centric in 2017", to coincide with its City of Culture status, I've been digging in the archives for some other national radio programmes that came from my home town. From 1987 here's Noel Edmonds enjoying an awayday from Hull with guest, local lass, Jean Rook. Whilst Noel dismisses the Humberside "nonsense" locals wouldn't ever describe it as "Kingston-upon-Hull". Attempting to get his teeth round "Spring Street Theatre" is announcer Bryan Martin.
