Two time Melbourne Cup winner Jim Cassidy joined us on this week’s This is Your Racing Life! Born in New Zealand and known as “The Pumper”, Cassidy won his first Melbourne Cup in 1983 and has since been a Cox Plate champion and three-time Australian Derby winner. He is the third jockey to have won 100 group one races, and has been acknowledged in the Australian Racing Hall of Fame. Hear Bryan Martin chat with “The Pumper” about his racing world.
