Miss Eva

Eva Mae was born and raised in a rural part of Georgia just shy of the South Carolina border, outside of the small town of Clyo, Georgia. Eva has lived there all of her life, in an area called Berryville, where several generations of families have continued to live.  Eva married her high school sweetheart and together they had a son. They purchased a trailer and a car, but shortly afterwards Eva's husband was laid off from his job at The Great Dane Trailer Company. This threw him into a depression from which he could not emerge.  Today's episode chronicles one woman's journey to find solace and happiness in the wake of tragedy. A story about faith and the legacy of suicide.
