LISTEN BACK- Former soldier injured in Ballygawley bus bombing wants to meet #Derry girl who "saved" him.
A former soldier who was badly injured in the Ballygawley bus bombing 27 years ago is trying to trace a young girl from Derry who he says saved his life that day. James Leatherbarrow suffered extensive injuries in the IRA attack which claimed the lives of eight of his colleagues. In the moments after the blast, the soldiers were given first aid by members of Londonderry's Star of the Valley Band who were travelling behind the bus. James says he's convinced one of the bombers tried to board the bus in Belfast before issuing a death threat to the soldiers. He has been speaking to Enda McClafferty.
