Annul Presidential Order on Creation of New states, Say Dr Lam Akol

Political Parties under the National Alliance have issued statement calling for the annulment of the Presidential Order on the creation of 28 states in the country.

The 15 political parties say the republican order is in violation of the transitional constitution, because it was did not get Parliamentary approval.

National Alliance chairperson, Dr Lam Akol, is concerned the move could also negatively affect the implementation of the peace agreement.
