Hull Pirates Dominic Osman on the action from the weekend

Hull Pirates Ice Hockey Club head coach Dominic Osman spoke with Radio Yorkshire's Tom Carnduff about the addition of forward Tommi Laine, the weekend's results and looking ahead to facing Sheffield and Swindon in the next round of fixtures.

The Pirates secured their first point of the season after a loss on penalty shots to Basingstoke on Saturday night. Osman is still optimistic following his side's improved performances against two tough opponents.
