UK: There is no wish for sanctions on the people of SouthSudan

UK Ambassador Tim Morris says his government will continue to support the South Sudan government during its transition period.
Ambassador Morris applauded the signing of the peace agreement by the government and opposition last month, and said the international community would offer direct support during the transitional process.
The Ambassador spoke on sanctions and responded to reports of Britain deploying boots on the ground in South Sudan.
