Big interview – classical singer @russellthevoice talks to @endamcclafferty

Imagine having a premonition you would die by the age of 40 with an explosion in your head, only to be struck down with a brain tumour a week before your 40 th birthday. How frightening would that be... Well that's what happened to opera singer Russell Watson. He survived not one but two brian tumours and has managed to keep his career on track....he's known off course as the People's Tenor and he is due to play in Belfast and Derry in November. Enda spoke to Russell about his premonition and the illness which almost cost him his life. He told me how close he had come to losing his life.
