How much of a problem is a food waste in your house? How many slices of your stale sliced pan are you chucking out each week?

A new survey by Love Food Hate Waste estimates that around 24 million slices of bread are thrown away from UK households every single day. Just under half of those surveyed said they eat bread every day with 38% buying two loaves a week. And a quarter said they often threw out a whole loaf which had gone out of date
