So the party talks kick off at Stormont today - talks to save the Assembly. Big issues to sort out. The police assessment that the IRA still exists threatened to scupper the talks before they even began. And the parties also have to find a way through the welfare reform stalemate that had already brought Stormont to the point of collapse DUP leader Peter Robinson will be there today, despite being hospitalised over the weekend.
