Did Jeremy Corbyn support the IRA’s goal? @ken4london and @alexmassie discuss #BBCNolan
More criticism for New Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn's links to Sinn Fein. An article in the political magazine the Spectator claims the Labour party is now led by people who wanted the IRA to win. Columnist Alex Massie says this is no exaggeration. He cites Jeremy Corbyn speaking at Troops Out rallies in the 1980s. And that just two weeks after the Brighton bombing Mr Corbyn invited IRA bombers to the House of Commons. Others say engagement offered by Corbyn during the 1980s spurred on those in Sinn Fein who wanted to go down the political route. Stephen spoke to Alex Massie and Ken Livingstone, the former Labour Mayor of London.
