Reporter @nweir1 and driving instructor take on bus lanes #BBCNolan

Last week we were talking about the bus lanes in Belfast City centre after we had been contacted by. Mike Barr, who runs a wedding car firm, to say one of his drivers was done trying to make drop offs at the Europa Hotel. Transport NI told the Nolan Show the driver should have crossed the bus lane - - "as near to a right angle as possible when safe to do so". The driver claimed he had been in the lane for 50 yards in order to make the turn safely. Well our reporter Nicola Weir went out with a driving instructor Neil McClaron in his car to see for herself what it is like to try and make a turn that means crossing a bus lane.
