Piles of trash overwhelm dumpsters at popular areas in the Uinta Mountains

Michael Proctor of Kearns sent us this photo of trash heaped in, on and around a bear-proof dumpster at Mirror Lake. The U.S. Forest Service says the dumpster is serviced regularly but gets overfilled on busy weekends. That can present a danger by luring wildlife.
