Should no shows for GP and hospital appointments be fined?

Have you ever had a GP or hospital appointment that you couldn't attend? Would you be happy to pay a fine for missing it? Well you may have to in future as the Government looks to crackdown on waste by imposing a £10 fine on patients who miss appointments. It is estimated that each missed appointment costs the Health Service £160. last week, Health Secretary Jeremy Hunt said he had 'no problem' charging patients for missed appointments.
