Forty artists working across visual art, photography, film, live art, performance and design were brought together by 'Counterpoints Arts' for an exhibition aptly entitled 'Dis/Placed' about the millions of people uprooted often violently everyday. Many of the artists have first hand experience of what it means to be displaced and the exhibition brings home in a powerful way the reality of life for those who find themselves on the move aginst their will. The exhibition is currently running in Shoreditch Town Hall, London until Sunday June 21.

Counterpoints Arts is a UK based arts organisation exploring refugee and migrant experiences.

Anne Daly went along to visit the exhibitions and spoke to some of those involved.
