Ex-Secretary of State sounds violence warning over Stormont crisis #BBCNolan
Violence could return to Northern Ireland if Stormont collapses. That's the very stark warning from a former Secretary of State on the Nolan TV show last night. Shaun Woodward said Northern Ireland could slip back into the bad old days of the Troubles if the Assembly goes under due to the current impasse over welfare reform. There have of course been numerous warnings about the future of Stormont recently but it has managed to lurch on.
