Liverpool mum tells us why you should donate in National Blood Week

It's National Blood Week, and campaigners are trying to raise awareness of the importance of giving blood and encourage more people to donate.
Over 200,000 new donors are needed this year across the country so that stocks can be kept at a safe level.
Liverpool Mum Vicky Hughes knows better than most about the importance of giving blood after her daughter’s life was saved during a heart operation when she was just 7 months old.
She's been telling Radio City's Louisa King her story.
