Big interview - Senator George Mitchell talking peace and latest Stormont crisis
Our big Friday interview this week is with someone who played a major role in the peace process. Former Senator George Mitchell was appointed US Special Envoy for Northern Ireland under President Bill Clinton, and I had the pleasure of talking to him earlier this week. He has a new book out about his life called The Negotiator, so Stephen began by asking him just how hard the negotiating process was when he chaired the talks that brought about the Good Friday Agreement.
