Shop owners in the Belmont Road and Arches areas of East Belfast say their businesses are being put under threat by a road closure. Mersey street is currently closed, as work is being carried out to water pipes. Originally it was meant to take a few weeks.. But it's now believed the work will continue until Christmas. However business owners claim that since it started their takings have been severely hit... With some saying they've had to lay off staff. Our reporter Nicola weir went to visit business owners who are facing tough decisions about their futures.
