The Brussels connection

After a long and tiring day travelling across Europe Vance and I arrived in Brussels. The only problem was it wasn't the station we needed to be at! The ICE, having been delayed significantly between Cologne and Aachen, terminated one stop early at Brussels Nord. Not only had we missed our Eurostar connection but we now had to find our way between two stations in the Belgian capital. Thankfully a fellow passenger came to the rescue, and we completed the Brussels connection without a hitch. Big thanks must go to the gentleman who helped me and to the Eurostar staff who transferred me onto the next service without issue.
