#NW200 - are fans being sent mixed messages about speeding?
It's a big week for motorbikes with the North West 200 starting today. The PSNI have called for "road safety to be everyone's number one priority." But is there a danger of a mixed message being given to people who love road racing?
On one hand the North West is hyped with pictures on our tv of high speed races. Then the police warn those who go to watch that speed kills.
The event has claimed the lives of riders in the past, the most recent being English rider Simon Andrews. His death was the latest to rock a controversial sport that has been no stranger to fatal crashes.
