@bishopfm with Dennis Duncan interview Richard Ives regarding the upcoming Fundraising Bike Ride. #chuff #fowlerwelch #richardives Story We are a group of 10 truck drivers and staff of Fowler Welch at Washington who are undertaking a 200 mile bike ride from our depot to Coldstream via Alnwick and Berwick upon Tweed over 4 days from 5th of May to the 8th.

Our inspiration came when we heard of the granddaughter of a couple who work in our office at Washington. Her plight made us realise how fortunate we are and that others are not so lucky .We've heard how caring and understanding the staff are and wish to help them to continue their work . We aim to raise as much money for The Children's Heart Unit at the Freeman Hospital as possible. We have been given full support and encouragement from our senior managers at Washington and we have been granted permission by Tesco to put collecting tins and buckets in all their express stores throughout the north east of England.
