Huge political story today. The resignation of a Stormont Minister. Jim Wells is standing down. His resignation follows his remarks last week linking same-sex relationships to child abuse. He issued an apology, but there was growing speculation about his future. In his statement today, Mr Wells referred to his wife Grace's battle for life after suffering a stroke. He said he is "no longer able to continue my Ministerial duties and give Grace the attention she deserves".
