Seriously, I know many of you won't read this, but if you happen to, THANK YOU for helping The Dusty Show and WFMU reach our goals. I really enjoyed this Marathon, although I though I was weak in Week 2. To be honest, it's hard to do that Marathon Show after co-hosting with Fabio. Dusty seems anti-climactic after that. And in truth, my shows have been spotty lately. Anyway ... thank you for pledging, to ALL the listeners, the volunteers, the FMU staff, sound people. light people. food people, musicians, everyone that made it happen. I really appreciate the money you pledged. I know that it is not easy to do that. I pledged this year, but only as much as I could and it's hard because I want to pledge for everyone. At any rate. I appreciate your support, loyalty, patience, all of it. You are the greatest listeners in the world, no doubt. I was tottaly SUCKING at this point. Dying on the air. So boring and inhibited. So self-aware. It's been a problem lately. Rudderless. Set: weed no more Set: WHY do you guys NEVER call until I START the song????? It amazes me. hahahahaaaa comments dipped 15% internal panic is in motion Set: CC7 is good. I am proud of it. And the Bonus CD turned out well, too. 77 minutes of mini-musicals and weirdness Set: No Calls Set: P O S T M A R A T H O N C O M E D O W N I sometimes feel I should do the show alone when I am feeling introspective. THE PACE OF THIS CALL IS KILLING ME Just sing the MF Ugh Set: As I SLowly Turn You Down phoen too quiet Set: So OUT OF IT Set: Caller Michael Calls to tell me He Hates The Show Set: Are You Tired of Yourself? dusty@wfmu.org Set: I looked it uo. Alex Karras played Doc in the movie FM. A tired, disillusioned DJ who has lost his confidence and is waiting to be laid off. I always remembered that role and feel it sometimes, that feeling of losing the mojo. weird I'd rather share that with you, not neccesarily to whine, but to let you know that I am AWARE when I suck, so you don't think I am just skating by and cavalierly getting away with sucking and not caring. I do care. Set: Growing Moss .... Real Life Rihanna sound better than THIS! I acyually like real life Rihanna. Set: SHOVE IT! I lied to Fabio, too. the dove takes flight into the golden polluted modern sky

the banjos play, then are painted black

and they are stacked by men with tacky paint-wet hands

the governor attends

he wears red velour underwear and a hardhat

he swears, spits, smokes, vomits, punched someone, and dies

and the dove flies up so high

he becomes indivisible

he cannot be divided

or multiplied

there is onyl one dove
