Monsanto denies UN report that weedkiller probably cause cancer in humans

It's a weedkiller used right around the world - farmers spray it on crops, gardeners use it to kill unruly plants. But could Roundup cause cancer in humans? A study recently published by a UN health body has found that its main ingredient - the pesticide Glyphosate - is probably carcinogenic.. The International Agency for Research on Cancer, reviewed previous research - and linked Round Up to non Hodgkins Lymphoma and lung cancer. The weedkiller is manufactured by the company - Monsanto. It's strongly disagreed with the findings and says scientific evidence shows the product is safe. But Dr Catherine Gyton who led the evaluation project at the Lyon based research agency told Susannah Streeter more about the findings
