'No justification' - UKIP MLA hits out at families claiming average yearly benefit of £56,000

Ten families in Northern Ireland are claiming an average of £56,000 a year in benefits. The details were disclosed by the Social Development Minister Mervyn Storey after a question tabled by UKIP MLA David McNarry. The Belfast Telegraph reports today that the Minister has said he "recognises the concerns that such figures may generate".
