Must Listen: First ever recording of the Welsh National Anthem (made in 1899)

This is the first known recording of Hen Wlad Fy Nhadau, recorded on the 11th March 1899 by Madge Breese. It's also believed to be the first ever recording made in the Welsh language. Sunday 1st March sees the first of our 'Stories from the Stacks' on the Roy Noble programme, exploring treasures from the National Library of Wales.
